Seesaw Platform
Seesaw is the school's learning and messaging app.
All children have their own Seesaw account which can be accessed by scanning a unique QR or alphanumerical code via the 'Seesaw Class' app which can be downloaded from the Andriod or Apple store. Accounts can also be accessed on a computer: https://app.seesaw.me/#/login. Each child will have their learning journal for the year displayed in the app. They will be able to complete homework and home learning tasks (if they are absent for a prolonged period of time) and publish them for their teacher to comment and mark.
Parents are also given access to the 'Seesaw family' app which allows them to see the learning journal for all of their children in one place. Once a QR/alphanumerical code has been used to activate a parent account, they can set up their own password and login details. Through the family app, parents will be able to see what work the children have been doing in school, their homework and can also view messages from their child's class teacher or other members of staff.
