Our Year 5/6s took part in their first fixture of the year, playing St. Whites in a very competitive fixture. The teams were very evenly matched with both teams rotating squads to assess children in different positions. St. White's won the fixture 3-1.
To the class of 2024, thank you for everything you have done at the school. You have typified what the school stands for, leaving us prepared for your next steps and for the challenges that you will face. Keep showing kindness and resilience and we know that you all have bright futures ahead of you. Remember to come back and keep continuing to inmprove this great town that you all live in. We look forward to hearing all about how well you are all doing.

What an incredible turnout for our Summer Showcase. It was fabulous to see so many of you supporting this school event.
Our year 5/6 local history quiz team took part in the local final recently. They played St. Whites in a very close run competition. Eventually finishing second overall. What a brilliant performance this year in the competition and a great achievement to reach the final.
Well done to all the finalists that took part in the K-Nex challenge final today. The children did so well to complete their thought challenge which was to build a Paris landmark.
The children had an amazing time at last night's discos. It was great to see those giant conga lines and of course the Okey Cokey!

What an amazing turnout for our sports days this year. The children loved seeing you all there. The children all tried their best, demonstrating all of the school values and showing great support and encouragement for each other. We are proud of all of you for what you have achieved this week!
Great effort from our year 5/6 football team who took part in the ProStars tournament at Five Acres school today. Despite missing may year 6 children, who have been visiting their secondary schools this week, the children played extremely well. For some this was their first tournament but they still managed to win one game and draw two others.
We are super proud of our year 5/6 girl's football team. Today the took part in the last Prostars football tournament of the year. Their performance has been so good through all the Prostars tournaments this season and finished as highest point scorers across all the tournaments, setting up an overall final against Woolaston school.
