Reopening Plans to be Published tomorrow

13th May 2020

Good morning,

Tomorrow you will all be receiving a letter which details our plans for re-opening the school.

There are a number of measures that will be put in place which are aimed at trying to keep both pupils and staff safe.

Please take the time to read the letter carefully which contains a lot of information about how the school will start to reopen for some pupils. Please take particular note of the staggered times that children will be attending.

We appreciate that many of you will be very worried about your children returning to school. We are in the process of making sure that we have put in place everything that the Government have asked of us, focussing our efforts on keeping all site users as safe as we can.

The school will be a very different place for your child so if they are due to return please take the time to start talking to them about what they can expect by sharing some of the key points from the letter with them.

Please remember that the 1st June is the earliest that schools can return and is not guaranteed. School attendance regulations also remain relaxed and parents and schools will not be held to account for non-attendance if children.

As it stands the school is ready for a 1st June return, however, this may change but we will off course keep you up to date with any changes.

Take care everyone and stay safe.
