End of Term

17th Jul 2020

Today is the last day of term and school closes for the summer. This has been the strangest end to the school year that we have known and many children will leave the school today without having properly said goodbye.

For many of you, your child’s school has been at home. You have all done a fantastic job and we couldn’t be prouder of the community that we serve. They way you have all come together and worked with the school has been truly remarkable.

All try to find some time to yourselves over the summer and take a break. You certainly deserve it.

By the time September comes around some children would have been out of school for 6 months, but don’t be worried about that. Children are remarkably resilient and they will soon be working where they should be, staff at the school will work tirelessly to make sure of this in the Autumn.

Although the school will be closed during the summer, staff will still be available to support you. So please email us - and someone will get back to you as soon as they can.

To all of you that are leaving the school today, thank you. Thank you for supporting the school, for supporting your children and for just being so great. Your children all have very bright futures ahead of them and it has been a privilege having them at Forest View.

Take care and stay safe everyone. We look forward to welcoming all of our parents and children new and old back to the school when we reopen on the 3rd September.

Love all the staff at Forest View
